And finally, Chris Hudson has been shortlisted for Designer of the Year at the Professional Publishers Association (PPA) Independent Publisher Awards as well as Cover of the Year, to be held on the 5 December at the Montcalm Hotel, London.
Pat Riddell, editor, said: These are exciting times for the magazine with several nominations during the end-of-year awards season, as well as our move to 10 issues a year, a relaunched website and a new, interactive app set to launch soon. Fingers crossed that well win one or two, but to make the shortlist for any of these prestigious awards is a huge success for a magazine that is only just celebrating its fourth birthday. Lets hope another year of hard work will bring further plaudits in 2015.
Maria Pieri, editorial director, said: The nominations are a testament to the hard work of a very talented and creative team at National Geographic Traveller. We are proud to receive these nominations and we look forward to building on this excellent work with the aim of further success in 2015.
