ABTA Magazine August issue out now, featuring winter sports and the Indian Ocean
London (01 August): The August 2017 issue of ABTA Magazine is now available online, with the print version sent to all ABTA Members and subscribers. The main cover story focuses on what’s new in the world of winter sports, including the top trends, where to stay and how to find the best snowy adventure for every type of traveller.
ABTA Magazine keeps its readers up-to-date on developments in the ever-changing travel industry, with cutting-edge analysis and reports. The August issue includes a destination feature on finding the ideal Indian Ocean break, a special report on ‘last chance tourism’, and also delves into the key trends in this year’s winter sun market.
Editor Jo Fletcher-Cross says, “This issue covers a very broad mix of destinations and subjects, highlighting the depth and breadth of knowledge that those working in the travel industry are required to have. From ski resorts to tropical islands, sustainability to sports, it’s all in the August edition of ABTA Magazine. “Particularly fascinating, in my opinion, is our special report on the phenomenon of ‘last chance tourism’ — buzzwords that keep cropping up on travel trends lists. We look at the truth behind the phrase, and how the industry is helping those destinations which could otherwise be in real danger.â€
This issue also features a detailed review of a family trip to Denmark’s Legoland, takes an in-depth look at Uniworld river cruises, and spends 48 hours discovering the historical charm and avante garde offerings of peerless Paris.
