Senior management team
Anthony co-founded ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø in 1997, having previously held senior positions in tour operating and travel insurance. ±á±ð’s immensely proud of how his hard-working, loyal team has helped the company develop since then.
A major foodie, Anthony is always on the look-out for the next big restaurant, can’t do without his daily Nespresso and loves anything to do with travel, ’60s music and classic cars.
Maria has over 20 years’ experience in managing and creating award-winning content across all media. Having built and nurtured a talented team, she’d like to think of herself as an inspirational leader.
She also happens to be a black belt in Taekwondo, in case they don’t agree.
Matthew boasts an impressive 26-year tenure at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, initially managing sales teams and now leading the senior management team.
Matthew’s industry involvement extends beyond ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø. He has actively participated on boards and steering committees for organizations such as the Institute of Travel and Tourism. Currently and the Periodical Publishers Association’s and currently serves as a non-executive director for The North Coast 500, a Scottish tourism social enterprise.
A peanut butter connoisseur and father of three, he is happiest climbing a mountain or swinging a golf club.
With over 20 years’ publishing experience, Matt specialises in creating campaigns with tourist offices to help foster reader engagement with destinations. Before joining ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø in 2004, Matt worked in the financial sector but switched to travel to indulge his passion for exploring the globe.
When not battling the London traffic in his bicycle clips or walking his Labrador, ³ó±ð’s partial to a spot of wild swimming, hiking, and camping — whatever the weather.
OPEraTIONS
Seamus joined ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø in 2010 as editorial assistant. A stickler for detail, he manages the day-to-day running of the company’s websites and apps, and has also helped deliver projects like the National Geographic Traveller Photography Competition and Travel Media Awards.
Made in Switzerland and exported to London via Ireland.
SALES
Danny joined ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø in 2001, rising from media sales executive to head of the consumer division. As well as hosting Best of British Sports Review of the Year events, since 2013 ³ó±ð’s managed sales for The Collection by National Geographic Traveller.
A devoted father of three, Danny can often be found at wildlife parks or mulling over tactics for the office five-a-side team.
Kam started at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø in December 2017 with no previous experience in advertising sales, but he felt immediately at home when he joined. ±á±ð’s gone on to make a very successful career in media sales due to the fantastic opportunities presented to him. ±á±ð’s headed up the digital online team since 2021 and is loving every minute of it.
With a passion for all things combat — from Rugby to UFC — ³ó±ð’s been training in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu since 2014 and has fought in several tournaments along the way. He can also finish a Rubik’s Cube in under a minute!
An ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø staff member for more than 15 years, Cynthia manages projects at the company.
S³ó±ð’s always on the lookout for the next travel adventure and is passionate about new restaurants, music and dancing.

Pat has been editor of National Geographic Traveller (UK) since 2010 and a travel writer and editor for over 20 years. ±á±ð’s been shortlisted seven times for Editor of the Year, Travel at the British Society of Magazine Editors (BSME) Awards and has seen his publication named Best Consumer Travel Magazine at the British Travel Awards four times.
Pat’s a long-suffering Nottingham Forest fan with an unfeasibly large record collection and he hates polystyrene.
Having launched Food by National Geographic Traveller (UK) in early 2018, Glen has overseen its transition from subscription-only to newsstand and led it to success at the Guild of Food Writers Awards 2021, where it was named best food magazine. In December 2023, Glen was voted BSME’s Editor of the Year — Food & Drink. ±á±ð’s also ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s head of training, responsible for improving and maintaining writing and editing standards across the editorial team.
Outside of work, Glen has a weakness for anything slow cooked in wine and old episodes of Columbo.Ìý
Olivia is Chief Sub Editor at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, working across everything from National Geographic Traveller (UK) and events to advertorials. Before joining the company in early 2022, she worked on titles including British Airways’ High Life, Tatler ²¹²Ô»å… Top of the Pops magazine!
Outside of work, Olivia’s a keen outdoor swimmer and margarita enthusiast (the cocktail, not the pizza).Ìý
Dan grew up in Zimbabwe, surrounded by bush veld, granite koppies and sunshine. From an early age he took an avid interest in drawing and painting, so it was a natural progression to seek out a career in print and publishing. ±á±ð’s currently a Production Manager at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, where ³ó±ð’s worked since 2012.

ÌýMattie heads up ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s lifestyle publishing department and is editor of Living360, the online lifestyle and wellness destination she helped the company launch in 2021. When her team isn’t writing about the latest trends or posting relatable content on Instagram, they’re creating lifestyle publications for distribution with UK newspapers and digital native content for an array of media outlets. A qualified aesthetician, ²õ³ó±ð’s also the office’s resident beauty expert and can often be found giving skincare advice.Ìý

Anthony joined ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø in 2014 bringing with him a hefty knowledge of all things production, after many years in the media industry. He now manages The Telegraph weekly spreads, which keeps him very busy!
±á±ð’s a massive Arsenal fan, loves spiritual jazz, cycling, surfing, percussion and can play a mean didgeridoo.
Having worked in the publishing industry for over 13 years, Flora has been the editor for a wide range of magazines and newspapers. Overseeing the paid content department for National Geographic Traveller, Flora has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to travel and tourism and has previously been shortlisted at the PPA Awards for her work in branded content.
You can find Flora reading a thriller, listening to neo-soul, or exploring new cities. S³ó±ð’s also a quarter Danish, but don’t ask her to translate…
With over 15 years’ experience and a keen eye for visuals,ÌýOllyÌýhas played a key role in helping to produce the high standards of photography seen across APL’s lead titles. He mainly focuses onÌýNational Geographic TravellerÌý(UK) andÌýFood by National Geographic TravellerÌý(UK), and recently won Best Picture Editor at the BSME Talent Awards 2023 — as well as being part of Best Art Team in the same year.Ìý

OllyÌýhas a background in music and has been in several bands. He also helped co-found a music festival back in the day. Now a proud parent of two, his kids keep him busy and, on the weekend, you can often find him undertaking DIY projects or breaking concrete with his jackhammer.
As senior content strategist, Berkok oversees all digital output for National Geographic Traveller (UK), including content creation and promotional strategies across the global website, newsletters and social media channels.Ìý
Since joining the company two years ago, he's led the digital transformation of the magazine's print-to-online process and revised the digital strategy, contributing to a notable increase in web traffic.
Outside of work, Berkok hosts dinner events and serves as the team’s go-to expert on all things Turkish food.
Tilly joined ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø with a background in digital marketing for magazines and publications, charity organisations and FMCG, in and around the travel and lifestyle industries. She currently manages the marketing for the National Geographic Traveller (UK) Food Festival and the Travel Media Awards and oversees the paid social strategy for National Geographic Traveller (UK).
In her free time, Tilly can be found hopping around art galleries, painting and drawing, and going on weekend adventures around the UK.Ìý
